Letter from The Founder

"There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about."

– Margaret J. Wheatley

The design industry is booming, and entrepreneurs and freelancers constitute a major part of the industrial workforce today. Small emerging businesses are leading the way with innovation-centric sustainable business models. The growing consumer sentiment around the harmful ramifications of the fashion industry, both social and ecological, has brought about a shift in what is considered an acceptable value system of brands today. A bottom-up change, consumers are at the forefront of this shift, with influencers and entrepreneurial designers driving it home. Radical supply chain transparency, ethical sourcing and manufacturing, slow fashion, human-centric business models, and zero-waste product lifecycles constitute the zeitgeist of the industry.

This community is being built with a focus on emerging businesses and freelancers from across the globe that champion the cause of a more sustainable and ethically structured industry. Emerging artists and designers have a lot to offer in terms of creativity, culture, and value. Each with a unique philosophy, belief system, purpose, and vision has the potential to make significant contributions and further the trade.

My company seeks to understand every individual’s unique creative philosophy and visual identity to identify their niche in the global landscape. We want consumers to understand their work, their unique brand identities, and why they are different. We want them to recognize the creative philosophy, value system, and purpose of these emerging designers and artists. There is an innate vision that these entrepreneurs are seeking, with a higher purpose at the heart of their respective business models. They have inspiring stories that need to be told. Just knowing can make consumers into stakeholders in their vision for a more ethical and sustainable future.

Elbert Hubbard once said, “Art is not a thing, it is a way”. Creative minds across the globe are doing wonderful work, whether it be painting, designing, or video making. In the same spirit let us strive for a more evolved society. It is a way for a better today and a more beautiful tomorrow.

Ever faithfully yours,
